Rewilding the World with Ben Goldsmith
Crafting a Global Rewilding Narrative
Amplifying a Global Vision for Rewilding
Ben Goldsmith, English financier and environmentalist, has long been a driving force in conservation and rewilding through philanthropic and investment initiatives. In 2023, with the help and guidance of The Podcast Coach he launched Rewilding the World with Ben Goldsmith to spotlight extraordinary restoration projects and rewilding leaders worldwide.
Giving Rewilding a Voice That Resonates
Ben needed a platform to bring rewilding projects from island restoration to large scale reforestation to an engaged audience. The goals were to inspire action, foster learning, and build hope around ecological recovery and biodiversity resurgence.
Crafting a Global Rewilding Narrative
From the outset, we offered:
Creative Vision & Format Development – A biweekly podcast structure featuring interviews with leading rewilding practitioners, scientists, and movement-builders from across continents.
High-Quality Production & Distribution – Seamless remote recording with guests located all over the world, careful editing and post production.
Setup and management of podcast hosting to enable distribution across all major platforms such as Apple, Spotify, and Amazon Music.
Strategic Guest Outreach – Engaging prominent voices in conservation, who discuss ecosystem connectivity and indigenous knowledge. We liaise with each guest to ensure they have a good microphone and are briefed ahead of the recording.
We also leverage some of the amazing and inspiring photographs and video gathered by the guests to build engaging social media content to promote each episode.
A Powerful Platform for Global Rewilding Stories
Since launch, Rewilding the World has:
- Released biweekly episodes structured around global case studies, from oyster reef restoration in New York, bison recovery in Canada and the protection of ancient forest in the Highlands of Scotland.
- Featured high-impact conversations with guests such as Isabella Tree, Sir Stephen Fry, Tony Juniper, Olivia Swaak‑Goldman and Kristine Tompkins.
- Achieved strong listener engagement – with great ratings and glowing reviews for its uplifting and informative storytelling.
- We also helped organise several sponsorship deals from brands with appropriately aligned values.
